RECENT AWARDS AND SCREENINGS The D Train was awarded Best Short Documentary at Play Doc in Spain and a Jury Diploma at Message to Man International Film Festival in Russia. MoMA presents The Darkness of Day: Recent Films by Jay Rosenblatt The Darkness of Day was awarded Best Short Film in the International Official Competition of the Cali International Film Festival in Colombia and Best Documentary at the Tampere Film Festival in Finland. It has also won Best Short Documentary at Krakow Film Festival in Poland, It's All True in Brazil and Play Doc in Spain as well as Special Mentions at Punto De Vista Film Festival in Spain, Dokufest in Kosova and DOXA, Vancouver. Beginning Filmmaking is part of the American Documentary Showcase, a curated program of contemporary documentaries that is offered to US Embassies around the world.
