RECENT RELEASES The Darkness of Day The Films of Jay Rosenblatt - Vol. 1 Beginning Filmmaking UPCOMING EVENTS Beginning Filmmaking is part of the American Documentary Showcase, a curated program of contemporary documentaries that is offered to US Embassies around the world. June, 2010 - The Darkness of Day will screen in the competition at Hamburg Short Film Festival, Krakow Film Festival and Huesca Film Festival in Spain. April, 2010 - The Darkness of Day will screen in the competition at Full Frame, San Francisco International, It's All True and IndieLisboa. April, 2010 - Two programs of found footage collage films at Buenos Aires International Film Festival. RECENT AWARDS AND SCREENINGS Four Questions for a Rabbi was selected for Director’s Choice award at Black Maria Film Festival. September, 2009 - World Premiere of The Darkness of Day at the Telluride Film Festival. November, 2009 - International Premiere of The Darkness of Day in the competition at IDFA (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam). The Darkness of Day was awarded Best Documentary at the Tampere Film Festival in Finland. It has also won Best Short Documentary at It's All True in Brazil and Play Doc in Spain as well as a Special Mention at Punto De Vista Film Festival in Spain.
